Duluth International Airport officials are pleased that United Airlines will offer an additional daily roundtrip flight between Duluth and Chicago beginning June 7, 2012.
Tens of thousands of people have enjoyed the benefits of this convenient route since service started in December 2009. The additional third flight to Chicago is currently scheduled to depart at 10:46 a.m., well positioned between the early morning 6 a.m. departure and the late afternoon 3:06 p.m. flight.
"We're so pleased United has added an additional flight to the Chicago O'Hare hub, which provides hundreds of connections to domestic and international destinations" stated Brian Ryks, Executive Director of the Duluth Airport Authority. "The additional frequency, which is already available for booking at http://www.united.com/, will offer travelers from the Duluth/Superior region even more options as we head into the summer travel season."
